Bob Schaper is an award-winning television anchor/reporter who’s been gathering and sharing stories for nearly twenty years. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Bob has worked in St. Louis, Rockford, Ill., and Madison, Wis. A proven ratings driver, for the last four years he has anchored the dominant No. 1 morning show in Eugene, Ore. Past assignments include Capitol Bureau Chief in Wisconsin (providing political coverage to four stations), evening anchor, city hall reporter, general assignment reporter, and managing editor. Before journalism, Bob worked in the aviation field, first as a pilot in the Marine Corps, then as an instructor at The Boeing Company. A graduate of the University of Missouri–Columbia, he is originally from the St. Louis area. His hobbies include fly fishing, exercise, and creative writing.
